What’s Wrong With My face?!!!

Ok so you think your cute as button, a little hottie and then one day you wake up and look in the mirror and BAM!!! There’s an insanely ginormous monster on your face! You chalk it up to puberty but wait. Puberty? You’re too old for that!

Well I’ve noticed recently that when I’m super stressed I suddenly pop up with one or two random pimples. Or sometimes during that certain time of the month that I like to call “chicky time”. That’s a mixture of chic and icky because that how I feel then lol. I’ve never had acne, matter of fact until last year I never had a problem with blemishes at all!

I thought all this pimple stuff was supposed to happen during your teens, as a part of puberty for some. I never went through that, maybe my skin is trying to catch up with me! Lol. Is there anyone else like me in their 20’s…or even 30’s going through this? Where you get an odd breakout of just one blemish when stressed or during chicky time? Lol. I mean it’s not that bad, only once every few months but still it’s annoying when you’re used to clear, smooth skin. Stories, suggestions, comments…please do tell!

That's one of the reasons we have to try not to get all stressed out! #1. It's not worth it because in the end everything ends up working out afterall. #2. We have to learn to trust more that everything is going to work out in our benefit no matter what the situation. #3. Us woman tend to be sensitve most of the time and we have a much stronger backbone than we think. SO STAND TALL, TRUST & KNOW THAT YOU WERE BEAUTIFULLY MADE (without stressful pimples)!

my skin has SO gone absolutely nuts on me this past month, and i know it's stress, big time. I've never had great skin, but yesterday I woke up with what I can only describe as a knot, right in the middle of my chin, to match the one that was already in the middle, but a little to the right, of my forehead. 🙁 sigh.

BUT, as ladybee said in her #2 above, I do indeed have to remember that God is working it out behind the scenes. So until then, I will exfoliate, tone, and moisturize my way through it!

every now and then i get a giant one in times of stress.

definitely don't touch your face….sometime we don't realize we're doing that in times of stress.

don't poke or pick at it (because that will make it ANGRIER). I do a hot compress for about 5 minutes after washing my hands and face. Then apply pressure to the sides of the offending skin lesion with q-tips (if the q-tip bends, you're squeezing too hard and risk leaving a scar). if it pops apply rubbing alcohol or some sort of gel that contains salicylic acid to dry it out (if it burns that means its working!) such as neutrogena's "on the spot" rapid clearing gel.

    this always works for me.

When I started getting breakouts for the first time at 24!!!….I went to the Derm and Retin-A micro was the only thing that truly helped 🙂 Changing my diet and drinking tons of water also played a role in my skins overall appearance 🙂
