Wantable Makeup Subscription Box December

Wantable Makeup Box December 2013

I received my December Wantable Makeup Box weeks ago but getting back into normal blogging flow after the holidays and feeling icky has been a doozy! I haven’t even had a chance to really dig into everything yet but I’ve played just enough to give first impressions. In case you aren’t familiar, Wantable makeup box delivers 4-5 full size products based on your preferences for $36 monthly. You can swing for just 1 box for $40. You have the option to return your box if you don’t like it and you can skip or cancel at any time. Also, I was super excited to see my blogger pal Christine Mikesell of 15 Minute Beauty Fanatic featured for December!

ncLA Nail Lacquer Nail Wraps

I’ve never tried ncLA Nail Lacquer but I’ve heard a lot of buzz and was glad to see that I got nail wraps by them in my box. I received ncLA Nailing Hollywood Nail Wraps in Fowl Play. Fowl Play looks nothing like any nail design I’ve ever tried and I think they might be crazy fun to wear. The directions look easy and the nail set includes 26 nails wraps and a nail file so I’m excited to see how it works out. ncLA Nail Wraps are $16 retail.

MiA BelleZZa Mineral Pressed Blush

MiA BelleZZa Mineral Blush in Captive is a pretty peachy coral blush. It has a bit of sheen to it that makes it have a glowy appearance on the skin. I really like this color and it’s not too pigmented for me so it’s great for more natural makeup looks. Mia BelleZZa Mineral Pressed Blush is $16.50 retail.

Michael Marcus Lipstick

So thanks to Wantable, I now have my second creamy Michael Marcus lipstick! I got Inviting which looks pretty but not like a color I’d usually pick up from a store. Then again that’s part of why I like beauty boxes sometimes, to step out of my norm and try new things. I only swatched it on my arm so I need to actually wear it before I decide the color isn’t my taste. Although with the right lip pencil and/or gloss I’m sure I could make it work. Michael Marcus lippies are $24 retail.

Brazen Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadow

Regardless of the mess that sometimes comes with loose shadows, I can’t help be happy when I get a green, purple or gold eye shadow no matter what form it’s in! I received Brazen Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadow in Wicked, an emerald green shade. I like the color but I’d probably apply it wet or over a base color to give it a bit more pop. Brazen Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadow is $18 retail.

Brazen Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadow - WickedI also got a Skiin Soothing & Smoothing Eye Cream foil sample. Overall I liked this Wantable makeup box, mainly because of the blush and nail wrap design. The total retail cost is $74.50 so that’s a good value for a $36 subscription. I’m skipping the January makeup box so I can try out the Wantable accessories box so I’ll post about that soon. Do you subscribe to any Wantable boxes? Which is your fave?
