Skintastic Spotlight | TSA Friendly Travel Skincare Kits

Travel Skincare Kits

Just because you are on the move doesn’t mean you should sacrifice skincare. Unless you expect to be on an extended trip for a month or longer, there is no legit reason you should have to pack a full size beauty regimen either. Today I am sharing with you three of my favorite TSA friendly travel skincare kits in no particular order.

Travel Skincare Kits

Paula’s Choice Skincare finally has trial sized products fit for travel! So far these travel skincare kits are only available for the RESIST line but hopefully other options will follow soon for a wider variety of customers. I really love the RESIST cleanser, serum and nighttime moisturizer. Unfortunately the serum is not included in the kits but if your trip is not more than a week it probably isn’t that big of a deal. The options are RESIST Normal To Dry Skin and RESIST Normal To Oily Skin ($39 each). Join their mailing list for 20% off one item + free shipping on your next order.

OFRA Cosmetics has three travel skincare kits suggested by skin type. Each kit comes with seven products all under 3oz and the options are for dry, normal and oily skin. I’ve been using Ofra’s line of products for several years and it definitely ranks at the very top of my favorites. In fact their Foaming Vitamin C Cleanser has been my primary face wash at home for at least 3 years now. The products are made in their factory here in the US and let me tell you, their headquarters are what beauty dreams are made of! Check out the Ofra Cosmetics Skin Care Kits ($49.95) for details of each kit and order online. Use promo code mina at checkout to save 30% off your entire skin care and/or makeup purchase and join their mailing list for sales and new product updates.

Origins is one of my favorite stores to shop in person because it smells so delightful and you can try the products right there. If you have an Origins store in your area go inside to smell pure bliss and shop an array of skin care and makeup. If not, you can still shop online in the US and Canada. Origins has plenty of single items under 3oz, like my fave charcoal masks, but they’ve also put together a few travel skincare kits. Shop the Skin Starters Set ($20) and Glow So Nice Set ($23) online. Join their mailing list and get 10% off your first purchase. They have a neat My Origins Rewards program earning you 10 points per dollar spent plus 25 points for recycling empties. The points are used to snag full size products. By the way, your purchases contribute to their Plant A Tree program with over 500,000 planted so far!

Honorable Mentions

While there isn’t exactly a kit per se, Lush Cosmetics has just about thee most travel friendly skincare products in the history of everdom. What is easier than traveling with solid beauty products so you don’t have to deal with liquids? I love Lush! They have all types of products for face, body, hair, teeth and more. You could technically make your own travel skincare kit based on your preferences. It can get a bit pricey but if you only need an item or two it’s not so harsh, especially since most of the items last very long. Some of my favorite face cleansers they have are Coalface, Fresh Farmacy (solid, travel friendly bars) and Angels on Bare Skin.

Burt’s Bees has a nice trial size selection of some of their individual products. With only one or two being for the face I still mention them because I adore Burt’s Bees. Plus they’re great bargains when you’re trying to save some bucks…for more trips obviously! You can probably see by now that I’m a legit fan of charcoal beauty products and Yes To Tomatoes Activated Charcoal Bar Soap is another favorite of mine. I’m very picky with bar soaps but dude, it’s activated charcoal! I couldn’t resist. Again, these are not  travel skincare kits but definitely travel friendly options and brands you can find in stores like Target, Walmart and Walgreens!

I love the activated charcoal bar soap. So much cheaper than other charcoal bars, but does the same thing! My face looks and feels so much better. I have eczema so my face is always red, but this charcoal bar minimizes the outbreaks and leaves my face looking great!
