“Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.” Surely we have all heard this but what about when others do not follow the concept? Namely a significant other. You are supportive, encouraging and thoughtful, always considering that special someone. You are always the one to initiate calls and make plans. Leaving voice mail messages, sometimes waiting hours or days for a reply. You are doing too much. Why give so much of your time to someone who seldom gives you the time of day?
You pour so much care into this person who is just not meeting you half way, no where near 50/50. You are a giver but are you getting what you deserve in return? Where do you draw the line? Do you then decide it is time to do unto this other as he/she has done unto you? Think about it.
