The Story Of Pookie

I have a marriage contract, no seriously I do! It all started with a dolphin. Confused? I figured you would be. I grew up next door to the most amazing family ever. Next door were kids my own age who I immediately clicked with. Allen, Lana & Mika. Lana & Mika are twins, we were together so much that many people thought we were triplets…and we often played along! Silly rabbits. Allen has always been something special, they all are, but Allen has been my go to guy since…well I cannot even remember how long!

Allen is what most women claim they are looking for, the good great guy. Honest, hard working, polite, respectful, fun and handsome. He is one of the most loving people you will meet and some woman is going to be truly blessed to have him someday…with my permission of course! That is if I haven’t snatched him up first…this is where the contract comes in.

Allen (my Pookie) and I took this awesome trip years ago. We drove from Massachusetts to Atlanta, then Orlando, then back to Massachusetts. It was amazing! While planning the trip, I mentioned that I would marry the man that let me touch a dolphin. It was so funny, he wrote what I said on a piece of paper and I signed it. Anyone that knows me is fully aware of my love for dolphins! Well super amazing Al surprised me when we got to Florida with a full day at Discovery Cove. Therefore, we have a contract lol. Over the years we have added things to that contract.

No but seriously, Al is my dearest friend, my bestie for life! I can tell him anything, we will always be there for each other and anyone that comes into our lives have to understand we have a bond and accept it. Some people don’t understand our friendship, they think a guy and girl cannot have great bond and be just friends. Most people thought that Pookie and I belong together. Until my love came along, now they say he is my perfect match. So now they say if my love ever messes up then Pookie and I belong together. Lol, they are both great guys so I’m not complaining. I am blessed to have an awesome best friend and an awesome boo! Oh, my love is fully aware of this contract, it keeps him on his toes lol. (hola baby!)

Al is so fun and loving that he allows me to call him Pookie lol. I have this thing where sometimes I rename people I love, but sometimes the name I choose is nothing close to their actual name! My love let me do the same thing, there’s a funny story behind it that I may share someday…with his permission of course!

I luv my Pookie! I miss him, I will have to go up north and visit soon. And he will be joining my friends, my love and I on a huge group trip this summer, so yay! Also, what kind of best chic friend would I be if I didn’t mention Allen’s website?!!
