Okay you already read The Makeup Show Orlando Blogger Preview Recap, yes? So now let’s jump to the official days of The Makeup Show Orlando…November 4th and November 5th. There were booths galore setup in the ball room of The Peabody Orlando! I’m talking makeup, skin care, makeup tools, hair tools, nails, body paint and more! There were sections for seminars, keynote speakers and demonstrations. I seriously had no clue where to look, it was beyond exciting!

The Makeup Show Orlando Seminars
There were many great seminars scheduled for The Makeup Show Orlando but three were on my must not miss note! First up was Beauty And The Blog hosted by James Vincent. On the blogger panel was Koren of EnKore Makeup, Elessa Jade of PurseBuzz and fellow Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida members Brittany of Clumps of Mascara, Courtney of Phyrra.net and Cristina of Let Them Have Polish! I was so proud and excited seeing my blogging sisters up there spreading their bloggy fabulous awesomeness! The panel discussed changes they’ve noticed between brands and bloggers, a bit of blogging etiquette, advice for new bloggers and more. James mentioned how great it is to support one another and commended the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida for doing just that!

The second seminar I had the pleasure of attending was Branding Yourself As A Freelance Makeup Artist with Tia Dantzler. Tia is a fabulous celebrity makeup artist and also runs The Beauty Elixir blog. Not to mention she is so nice and down to earth! She actually has her first DVD, Red Carpet Beauty Secrets Instructional Makeup releasing soon. Me wants needs that DVD! When I found out she’d be at The Makeup Show Orlando I was like oh em geeeeee! Now is a good time to mention that I have a super makeup crush on Tia. Seriously, she rocks! Her resume is absolutely jaw dropping, including makeup artist for Jennifer Hudson. For the love of puppies and Christmas, she had President Barack Obama as a client! Girlfriend is major, a huge inspiration for me wanting to be a makeup artist. Nuff said.

The third seminar I really wanted to see was keynote session, A Career in Makeup with AJ Crimson…another makeup crush of mine. (Warning: dark cloud moment coming in 3, 2,…) Not only did I miss the beginning of AJ’s presentation at the blogger preview but I missed his keynote session due to a scheduling conflict. Not done! Totally missed meeting him at his booth multiple times. No keynote speech, no in person AJ awesomeness and no brand new foundation matching by AJ for Mina. 🙁 The last day of The Makeup Show Orlando I made a final attempt and stopped by the booth once more but was told I had just missed him…again (cue invisible tears and dramatic Mina moment). I seriously felt the urge to crawl home to bed, get in the fetal position and sob like a 14 year old who missed a Justin Bieber concert. And not that cute kind of cry…the ugly cry. Yea. The next time I’m at an event where AJ is featured, I’m totally not missing him speak and I’m stopping by his booth first! I also must try his new cream foundation.
Brands, Products And Sales…Oh My!
There were so many brands at The Makeup Show Orlando with demonstrations and sales! I vaguely remember saying I’d try to keep this short and I’m not doing such a great job so let’s keep moving along…basically I’ll try do less yapping and show more photos.
Amerikan Body Art had these eye catching beauties calling out to me! After the show I heard they also had an area setup to franken your own nail polish but I seriously did not see it. Darn.

Mr. Man would probably say I need a carry-all from the Zuca Artist Collection for all my “beauty girl stuff”. Ha! There’s truth to that though…

This is the one I want. Love pink and love zebra print!

I love the television show The Walking Dead. A lot. I tuned in to the premier of season one and never missed an episode since! Toby Sells does makeup for the show, check out just a bit of what he did at The Makeup Show Orlando!

I saw this girl pre-makeup and she went from lovely to zombie and I didn’t recognize her until I walked by the booth on my way out and saw others snapping photos. Amazing!

Of course Stila cosmetics had gorgeousness tempting me to hand over our entire bank account. I just love their colors. Can you believe I don’t have a Stila Smudge Stick eye liner in black? On this, you can judge me! At least I now have Triggerfish and Purple Tang.

I know you silly rabbits don’t think I’m done. There is still one more post. Check out The Makeup Show Orlando Recap Part Two!
Amazing.. love it, from the speakers to the booths and product!
I guess I shouldn't show you the photo of me and AJ, huh? 😉
