Studio Gear Cosmetics released a Holiday Smokey Eye Palette features 4 shimmery eye shadows and a blush. The eyeshadow shades in the palette are meant for creating a classic smokey eye look but can also be used for a less dramatic look if that’s what you prefer.
The palette comes in a Studio Gear Holiday sleeve. Inside the palette is a look guide with step by step instructions to create a smokey eye look using all four eyeshadow colors and finishing the look with the blush. If you use the guide be sure to pay attention that you’re using the right shades as two of mine were in the wrong place according to the diagram. I easily popped them out and switched them today.
The Studio Gear Cosmetics Holiday Eye Palette includes eyeshadow shades Platinum, Frost, Coal and Glimmer and blush shade Snowy Glow. Platinum and Coal are quite pigmented and lasted about 4 hours, but Frost and Glimmer while shimmery tend to fade within 2 hours without primer leaving almost nothing but sparkle behind. When I used primer they lasted almost 6 hours before starting to fade and using setting spray the eyeshadow lasted about 9 hours. Snowy Glow is gorgeous and quickly became a new fave in my blush stash. It has a soft hint of golden shimmer that I adore!
