St. Patrick’s Day Makeup & Nail Polish

Green Eye Makeup - St Patrick's Day Makeup Look

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up and though I don’t really celebrate the holiday, I wanted to share a bit of wearable St. Patrick’s Day makeup and my favorite green nail polish. I’m a member of The Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida and the lovely GeniaBeMe came up with the idea for us to do a linkup full of green beauty love. Such a smart gal! 😉 After checking out this post, be sure to hop to the next blog using the linky below to see more green for St. Patrick’s Day!

Green Eye Makeup - St. Patrick's Day Makeup LookSo I love green eyeshadow! I really feel it compliments my skin and brown eyes. One of my favorite shades of green is Envious by OFRA Cosmetics because it sparkles without being obnoxious and it is a bit on the bright side. Perfect for a fun St. Patrick’s Day look. This eyeshadow is versatile because I can wear it wet, dry, alone, on top of another color…I could go on! I really love layering it on top black or dark grey shadows, it creates this dusting of green sparkles for a differing type of smokey eye!

Green Eye Makeup - St. Patrick's Day Makeup LookAbove I used NYX Cosmetics Eye Shadow Base Skin Tone all over, OFRA Envious on the lid and OFRA Exquisite in the crease and outer v. I lined my eyes with OFRA’s Shiny Green Fixline Eyeliner Gel and applied EcoTools Naturally Beautiful Lash System Wispy & Flared lashes. I used a tiny bit of Milani Baked Blush Luminoso and Alicia Silverstone for Juice Beauty Purely Kissable Lip Color. Oh and for my brows, a bit of OFRA Semi-Permanent Eye Brow Gel in Charcoal.

Cult Nails Feelin Froggy Nail PolishMy all time favorite green nail polish is Cult Nails Feelin Froggy. I don’t think Cult Nails sells this particular shade anymore so I’m holding onto this one for dear life! Like if something happens to it I foresee some epic tantrum action in my future. Maria should avoid me at that moment because I’ll totally bug her to make another green Cult Nails nail polish, Feelin Froggy 2.0! This polish is just gorgeous, fun and perfect! Imagine the fun St. Patrick’s Day nail art you could create with a green like this. Although to me, this shade is perfect on its own.

Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? If so do you try to wear green clothes, makeup or nails?

Words Of The Day: I Hope You’re Feeling Lucky!

Your makeup looks fantastic and I love all those nail designs. I should do something cute like that with my nails!!

The green eye shadow looks so good on you, as well as the polish! I’m always afraid to use green because I always believe it wouldn’t look right on me.
I actually don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s day, but my daughters do at their school.

In the past I’ve worn a green shirt and a Irish button. I like the green make up I might have to try that.

Such a tasteful job on the makeup! I can’t pull the color green off very well, so I tend to stay away from the color.

I like this a lot! Your makeup looks great, and it’s a good way to add a bit of subtle green for St. Patrick’s Day without going overboard.

What a wonderfully understated way to celebrate without being too “in your face”! Maybe I’ll try it this year.
