OFRA Cosmetics was recently at The Makeup Show Orlando debuting their new Semi Permanent Waterproof Eyebrow Gel, an exclusive first of it’s kind formula. I was ecstatic to catch up with OFRA to witness their live demo of the product and try some myself!
Ofra Gaito applied OFRA Cosmetics Semi Permanent Waterproof Eyebrow Gel on Miss Universe 1992, Michelle McLean-Bailey at The Makeup Show Orlando. If you weren’t aware, eye brows are a major aspect of makeup as they frame your face. Aging, scar tissue, naturally thin brows or went pluck crazy with tweezers? Whatever the reason, you want to fill in your brows. This product helps you get a precise eyebrow shape while maintaining a natural look so you can avoid what I consider “Sharpie brows”. You know, the ones that look drawn on using a marker.
Full, natural looking brows are hot right now. (Yay for us furry gals!) Filling in brows while looking as natural as possible can be tricky but using this was pretty easy for me. I used a gentle hand and simply filled in certain areas, making sure to stick to the flow of my brows instead of trying to create an entirely new shape. OFRA Cosmetics Semi Permanent Waterproof Eyebrow Gel comes in 5 shades: Auburn, Khaki, Light Brown, Dark Brown and Charcoal. Because my natural brows are black and a bit thick, I chose to try Charcoal. Spot on!
I need you to take me insanely serious when I say a little goes a long way! For real y’all, gently dip just the tip of your brush into the eyebrow gel pot. Don’t start painting it on like your doing a 7th grade art project. Start at the inner brow area using light brush strokes going in the direction of your eyebrow hair. An angle brush like OFRA #16 or #4 will make application easiest, I like #16 best.
As the name suggests, this product is waterproof. It won’t melt off, wipe off or flake off. I rubbed until my skin turned red. Listen, you wash it off. Point blank period. Great news for gym time, working under intense conditions or living in a hot tamale state like I do! With OFRA’s Semi Permanent Waterproof Eyebrow Gel you can sweat like nobody’s business and not worry about your brows liquefying down your face like a bad oil painting! A round of applause for no more “I’m melting, melting! What a world, what a world!” moments, because yea that’s kind of embarrassing, right?
Aside from having beautifully sculpted eyebrows, my absolute favorite thing about the Semi Permanent Waterproof Eyebrow Gel is that the wax in the formula keeps my eyebrows tamed in place. My eyebrow hair is wild and has a rebellious way about it so this is a major plus for me! I’m pretty happy with the results!

Thank you! I'm thinking khaki but it's hard to tell. I believe that's which one Ofra used on Michelle at the demo, her natural color is similar to you. I'm going to try to get some swatches up as soon as the weather cooperates for good lighting!
Hmmm…. This stuff is fab on you and your naturally gorgeous brows. I wonder how it would work for someone like me who is forced to draw on her brows. Yep, Old Sharpie Brow, reporting for duty. Thanks to a childhood accident, my brows are jacked up and have to be plucked down to near nothing and drawn on. It's a major, royal, time consuming pain in my ass. I would kill for for beautiful, natural brows or at least a product I could apply and have last a few days at a stretch. 😀

Lol! My mom & best friend have the Sharpie brows too! My mom has naturally thin brows, I think she literally has 3 hairs on each side haha. I'm going to try this out on her but haven't figured out which shade yet. But I'm definitely not going to give her like an insanely dramatic shape, I'm going to try to keep it as natural looking as possible. Do you have a tutorial on how you do yours?
