I have long, thick, naturally stravy hair. If you’ve been reading this blog a while you know I call my hair stravy because it’s a mixture of wavy, curly and straight whenever it feels like it! I do love my hair but I’m always seeking quick ways to do styles I like. My latest quick hair tool is the InStyler Tulip Auto Curler that I received from Vocalpoint.
I had straightened my hair using my InStyler Max 2-way Rotating Iron the day before. Sometimes I use it to curl my hair but I mostly use it for sleek, straight styles. Let me know if you want me to post about it! Since I had an event to attend, I decided to add some loose curls to my hair using my InStyler Tulip. I’ll admit this thing looked so intimidating at first! I started in the back with my under hair like I do every time I’m trying something new. I must be a hair genie because I nailed it on the first try! Or maybe it’s just super easy to use, not rocket science at all.
I love that InStyler Tulip is automatic so my arms don’t get tired from physically wrapping my hair around a curling wand. It’s faster than my average curl time and the curls actually lasted all day without holding spray. I’m sure when the Florida heat comes back full force I’ll have to revisit this no holding spray thing but for now all is good.
When you first open the InStyler Tulip there is a cool quick guide attached to show you how to use it. There are more detailed instructions included in case you need them and you can check out videos online too. The InStyler Tulip is packed with features like being able to switch rotation direction, 3 heat settings and 3 curl settings. Depending on your settings you can achieve beachy waves, loose, medium or tight curls. For my curls pictured above I used the high temp on 3 second timer.
I really like using the InStyler Tulip and can’t wait to try the tight curls, the only style I haven’t tried with it yet. At the moment, this is my favorite hair curler! Have you ever tried the InStyler Tulip?
Disclosure: I received an InStyler Tulip + InStyler Max via VocalPoint to help facilitate this post however all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the sponsors that help support MinaSlater.com – Fabulous Awesomeness.
