I am pretty excited about posting this Nail Of The Day (NOTD)! Jennifer Anderson, a Jamberry Nails Associate Consultant, was gracious enough to provide me with a set of nail shields. I have always wanted to do nail art myself but the designs often look so intimidating and time consuming. Jamberry Nail Shields are a fun, easy way to spruce up your nails with salon style looks in your own home.

There are over 200 designs so I had a tough time choosing a set because I loved them all! I ended up choosing Matte Gold Lace as it has a touch of fun and elegance at the same time. This design includes two things I love…lace and the color gold! Jennifer confirmed my selection right away and assured me I could reach out if I had any questions (because she is just awesome like that!).
When my order arrived it included a sheet of 18 Matte Gold Lace nail shields and application instructions. I was super excited to apply them but since it was my first time using Jamberry Nails, I wanted to read the directions. The instructions seemed quick and easy but I went ahead and watched the application video. Then I was more than ready to begin.

It was so simple! I already had my nails shaped so I jumped right into buffing with a gentle nail file. Then one by one I matched the nail shields to fit each finger nail, heated with my blow dryer a few seconds, applied and clipped off any excess. The prep and application time is short, I would say under 15 minutes, but because my nails were already shaped, my prep time was shorter than expected. It took me 10 minutes at most to complete the full set, no longer than painting my nails normally requires. The finished result was awesome and compliments have been pouring in! I really love the idea that these can last up to 2 weeks on finger nails and even longer on toe nails. Also, each set provides enough product to do 2 or 3 manicures or pedicures.

I love my Matte Gold Lace nails and already have my eyes on other sets like autism awareness, pay it forward Black and White and geometric. That is a very pretty "stick on" polish. Very clean and classic.

@stillblondeaaty Lol me too, I was so nervous but they turned out great and people keep asking where I got them done. I think if I can do it, anyone can!

I'm so excited to share this product with people!
Great review! They look wonderful on you, and easy to apply is a bonus! I'm always afraid to try these things for fear of messing up one nail and having to scrap the entire thing.

@Linette Linette, they were super easy to do. I plenty left over so I'm going to apply some to my mother's nails this week…she's in love with mine!
Those are beautiful – I really need to try them! Thanks for sharing 🙂
whoa, gorgeous
I love the nail art! Very cute!
These are beautiful Mina! Do you have to add glue to them?
Thank you darling, I love them! No, not at all. They have heat activated adhesive on the back and it won't damage your nails when removed like glue can. 🙂
Love the color and the design. I would love to try out Jamberry Nails they have some really fun choices.
How pretty, great for Spring! Love that!
