For those who are not familiar, Dimitri James is a professional makeup artist and creator of SKINN Cosmetics. In this book Dimitri shares tips on how to look fabulous and even sexy without going too far. I’m sure we’ve all had that moment when we wanted to turn it up a notch with fashion and makeup for a hot date or event. You put so much effort into styling yourself just enough to look great but were still weary enough to avoid the dreaded trashy look. Seriously, not many women want to be seen as trashy.

Naughty Makeovers For Nice Girls has ten chapters with tips, examples and images to help you spice up your look. You’ll find tips for various situations such as fashion for work, a date and even church. There’s even a chapter for mommy’s feeling and looking gorgeous. I really liked the travel section. I learned some tips that I hadn’t thought of before, so on my next flight I won’t worry about looking a hot mess after getting off of the plane! There are some good quick tips like carry on must haves, how to take a good photo and how to quickly freshen up your makeup. Speaking of makeup, in Naughty Makeover For Nice Girls, there are suggestions on how to get certain looks using SKINN Cosmetics products. Personally I have none so I just use what I have in my makeup stash. 🙂
