I use nuNAAT Ultra Keratin Touch every 30-45 days to tame my often unruly hair. NAAT Brazilian Keratin collection is dubbed to be a great maintenance set to use in between treatments. I put the NAAT Brazilian Keratin full collection to the test! Check out my review of NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Moisturizing Shampoo, NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Conditioner, NAAT Brazilian Keratin Intensive Hair Mask, NAAT Brazilian Keratin Liquid Keratin Leave-In Reconstructor and NAAT Brazilian Keratin Serum Ultra Shine. I have been using this collection since mid December 2012 to give it a good try.
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Moisturizing Shampoo
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Moisturizing Shampoo by nuNAAT is a creamy, semi-thick shampoo with a pleasantly mild fragrance. I cannot quite put my finger on the scent but it is sweet, possibly like a flower. I use a small amount which easily covers all of my hair. Unlike many shampoos I’ve tried, it doesn’t have the dry feeling, must condition now type of end result. It actually feels moisturizing so I rinse and repeat which is not common for me to do with most shampoos. NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Moisturizing Shampoo can be used daily but I use it twice weekly. My hair feels clean every time without feeling dry or brittle so I definitely plan to keep this handy on a regular ongoing basis. NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Moisturizing Shampoo is 10.1 oz and usually costs about $5 at Walgreens.
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Conditioner
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Conditioner is definitely up high on my list of favorite conditioners! I honestly wasn’t expecting to be so impressed with it because I am uber picky when it comes to conditioner. Friends actually consider my level of standards for conditioner a bit brutal! Finally, another conditioner that saturates my full head of long, thick hair without the need to use excessive amounts. I love the feeling of this slick conditioner gliding through my strands, making detangling ridiculously easy and leaving my hair soft. I use this once weekly, leaving it on for a few minutes and then I rinse thoroughly. NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Conditioner is 10.1 oz and costs about $5.99 at Walgreens.
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Intensive Hair Mask
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Intensive Hair Mask is not a thick, creamy hair mask nor is it the type that dries on your hair before rinsing. This mask is a sleek, slippery cream on the thinner side. Though it’s not the texture I am used to in a hair mask, I really enjoy the deep conditioning of it. I slick the mask all over my hair, clip it up and resume my regular shower routine while I wait for it to work its magic. It can be rinsed out within 10-20 minutes but I personally like to leave it on the full twenty minutes when I can. I use this once weekly instead of the NAAT Brazilian Keratin Deep Conditioner or sometimes bi-weekly if I am short on time. It really helps nurse my hair back to health after a week of styling abuse or Florida humidity. Also, once a month I saturate my hair with it, cover with a plastic cap, wrap a warm towel around it and then rinse after 15-20 minutes. Love! NAAT Brazilian Keratin Intensive Hair Mask is 17.6 oz and retails for about $5.99 online at Walgreens.com as well as in Walgreens stores.
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Liquid Keratin Leave-In Reconstructor
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Liquid Keratin Leave-In Reconstructor is basically what I think helps keep my Ultra Keratin Touch treatment last a bit longer than usual. Like its name implies, it’s liquid and you do not rinse it out. In my personal opinion this might be better utilized in a spray bottle but I don’t know if the formula is liquid thin enough to work that way. I think I’ll pour a bit into a spray bottle and test that out! I apply a liberal amount to my wet hair, concentrating especially on the ends and any areas that seem like it needs a little extra love. Then I blow dry my hair on medium and flat iron. Flat ironing seals the cuticles and helps the keratin sink into hair fibers. When I use NAAT Brazilian Keratin Liquid Keratin Leave-In Reconstructor I usually don’t need to flat iron my hair again for days unless we go through a bout of intense humidity. I’m rather messy with liquid hair products so I use my Ion Color Brilliance Extra Wide Tint Brush to apply this and I use it 1-2 times weekly if I plan to wear my hair straight. NAAT Brazilian Keratin Liquid Keratin Leave-In Reconstructor is 10.1 oz and retails for about $5.99 at Walgreens.
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Serum Ultra Shine
NAAT Brazilian Keratin Serum Ultra Shine is like a little bit of magic in a bottle for me! At first I was bummed by the small size, really bummed. Then I realized a tiny bit goes a very long way. Just a few drops is all that I need. Because I like this so much I’m not glad the size is travel friendly. NAAT Brazilian Keratin Liquid Keratin Leave-In Reconstructor is made of a silicone formula that coats the hair, keeps it moisturized and shiny but not greasy at all. Like the rest of the NAAT Brazilian Keratin products, this smells lovely! You can use this on wet or dry hair and I do both! I actually use this most when I let my natural wavy hair flow. When I style my hair straight or heat curled, I apply NAAT Brazilian Keratin Serum Ultra Shine first, then another pea sized amount the following day or so if refreshment is needed. Gladly I can say that it doesn’t weigh my hair down, leave it stiff and lifeless or stain any linen. NAAT Brazilian Keratin Serum Ultra Shine is 2 oz and costs about $5-$6.99 at Walgreens.
