Sometimes You Need a Moms’ Night Out! #MNOmovie

Moms' Night Out

I attended a VIP screening of the Moms’ Night Out movie as press with a complimentary ticket. As always, all opinions are my own.

When is the last time you had a moms’ night out? A little time away from the kid-zone, cleaning, cooking and errands. Don’t you think you could use a night of good, clean fun…with adults?! In the movie Moms’ Night Out, Allyson and her gal pals just want a few hours of grown up time. To eat at a fancy restaurant, put the phones away and have some adult conversation with friends. Let the dads watch the kids and plan out the evening ahead of time, everything will run smoothly right? Watch this Moms’ Night Out movie trailer…

Moms’ Night Out is a great comedy full of life, love and a bunch of laughter. I think the movie was high key hilarious! Guess what. There is no profanity in this movie! Awesome right? Goes to show that there can be great comedy movies made without cursing, nudity and all the other unnecessary things a lot of movies include these days. I loved this movie so much. The characters are so realistic and I grew to really like each one so much that I wish I knew them in real life! I could think of so many moments in my life that were just like scenes from the movie. Like that moment you walk into the room and see that your adorable kid has drawn on the wall…a lot of the wall. Nice!

Moms' Night OutThere are some actors you might recognize in Moms’ Night Out. Sarah Drew plays the main character, Allyson. If you’re a Grey’s Anatomy fan like I am, you’ll recognize Sarah (Dr. April Kepner) from the show. Sean Astin (Goonies, The Lord of the Rings, Rudy) perfectly plays the role of Allyson’s husband. Country music fans might recognize Trace Adkins as Bones…I loved him in this role! Patricia Heaton, well known for The Middle and Everybody Loves Raymond, is also in this movie and it’s hard not to love her character. Glee fans will see Harry Shum Jr also play a young dad in this movie!

Moms' Night Out - CastMoms’ Night Out will be in theaters May 9, 2014. That is Mother’s Day weekend! What better time for a moms’ night out? Go with your girlfriends, enjoy it with your Mr or bring whoever you want…it’s your night! Mark your calendar for May 9th and plan for a night of funnies! Again I ask, when is the last time you had a moms’ night out? Don’t you think you deserve one?

I saw the promo for this and just couldn’t. I’m sure that moms go through some difficulties but the promo made me feel like this movie was not for me. I’m glad you enjoyed it and had a night out.
