This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Burt’s Bees. All opinions are 100% mine.
I’ve been a Burt’s Bees fan for years. I’ve used nearly everything from lip balm to body wash and now the list includes lipstick! Available at Target is a new line of 14 full coverage Burt’s Bees lipsticks. They are all satin finish and in true Burt’s Bees fashion, are made to hydrate. These natural lipsticks are incredibly popular as they’ve been flying off the shelves but I managed to find some and picked up 3 shades. After trying them I can see why they are selling so fast!
The shades I picked up are Juniper Water, Suede Splash and Russet River. I wanted to make sure to try a neutral color, I always grab a red and the purple was just irresistible. The biggest problem I had was choosing which one to wear. Creamy, moisturizing lipstick that is lightweight and lasted 6-7 hours is okay by me! I was curious about why the lipstick felt so lush and moisturizing and found the answer…vitamin E! Also moringa which helps soften the skin and also has numerous health benefits, you should look it up! I was most surprised by how pigmented the colors were because they are natural. Huge plus, I love being able to get vivid, full color from natural products.
Juniper Splash was a hit among the majority of my friends…and my mom. Now I have to go purchase one for her. It really is a striking color and it’s the perfect color to throw on if you’ve got an event or date after work. Suede Splash is the ideal beige and it held up really well during dinner. Am I the only one that tends to wear bold colors during the day and then tone it down in the evening? I have no idea why I do that sometimes. Regardless, Suede Splash is what I would wear every day. Russet River was is my favorite because I have basically become a mascot of red lips and deep shades of lipstick. I could barely control the urge to try it on as soon as I got in my car in the Target parking lot! It was worth the wait though.
Can we talk about this packaging for a minute? Cute much! The design is so adorable but not over the top and it’s also very purse friendly. The lipstick lid snaps into place nice an snug so I have no worries about mishaps in my handbags. Burt’s Bees really came through when creating these new lipsticks. I want to get more shades, most of the collection actually. Hopefully I can find more but if not they are online and Target has the cool option of shipping to store for free. So that’s an option to keep in mind if you are looking for Burt’s Bees Lipstick and having a tough time because everyone is buying them. Which colors would you get? Do you have any of the Burt’s Bees lipsticks? Speaking of new, have you seen or tried the new Burt’s Bees BB Cream?
