Lancome DreamTone – Show My #bareselfie Photo? Challenge Accepted!

Lancome DreamTone Ultimate Dark Spot Corrector Beautiful Skin Tone Creator

We’d all like even, glowing skin yes? Well I’m using Lancome DreamTone, a dark spot corrector serum that is customized for skin tones, from fair to dark, to create a more beautiful skin tone. SheSpeaks and Lancome challenged me to try DreamTone and share a #bareselfie photo and I of course said “Challenge accepted!” in my best Barney Stinson voice. They didn’t even have to triple dog dare me!

According to Lancome’s study of DreamTone:

  • IMMEDIATELY:  • 74% saw glowing skin*
  • 7 DAYS:  • 70% noticed a more even skin tone*
  • 4 WEEKS: • 69% saw the appearance of dark spots reduced*
  • 8 WEEKS:  • 78% saw color imperfections reduced*

*All results based on global self-assessments of women of multiple ethnicities in an 8-week study. 72% reflects 8 weeks of use.

I have only had the product for 6-7 days so I can’t say much personally about results at this point. What I can tell you so far is that I’ve had no wonky skin irritation and I absolutely love the silky feeling of my skin since I’ve started using it. I had trouble with the pump and had it exchanged but I like it now that I have one that works. It’s a twist cap type doodad that reveals the pump when twisted right and retracts it when twisted to the left. For me that’s awesome because I’m a wiz at clumsily dropping bottle caps that perfectly fall under a cabinet and then I decide it can just stay down there. No missing cap woes for this one!

Lancome DreamTone is slightly tinted. I use #3 for dark skin tone. Here’s my #bareselfie day 5.

Lancome DreamTone is a bit pricey at $98 (1.3FL OZ) but skin care to me is something I don’t skimp on if I really think a product will work. Also Lancome is a brand I love and trust so I have high hopes for this! I really want to tell you about my results so I am going to continue using Lancome DreamTone for a few more weeks and come back with an update! Have you tried Lancome DreamTone? What are some of your skin concerns? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

    Just curious..did this ever work?

It evened my skin tone well and lightened some dark spots a little so it did help some but the price is still bugging me since it’s something I think would have to be used for a while to really get great results. I have not purchased a second bottle yet, I’m trying another product but if that doesn’t work as good or better then I’ll probably just dish out the $$ to get more of the DreamTone.
