Back in my modeling days I constantly got compliments on my long lashes from makeup artists as they plastered falsies to my eyelids. No doubt falsies help the eyes pop in photos and at events. But I never liked them! They looked amazing but they felt so uncomfortable and unnatural plus I actually like my natural lashes. I never tried applying them myself, even for events or photos. When I got Kiss Ever Pro Lashes in my Beauty Bloggers VoxBox from Influenster, I knew I’d have to attempt putting on falsies. Uh-oh!

Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit
The Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit comes with a pair of false lashes, a Pro Lash Applicator and Pro 24 Hour Hold Latex-free Glue. The lashes are stated to be high quality, suitable for contact lens wearers and 100% human hair. That’s kind of weird to think of someone else’s hair being glued to my eye lids…but I’m a germaphobe and also have a spazz out moment when anything is in close proximity to my eyeballs! (Sidebar moment) I was traumatized at the eye doctor when I was a teacup human. Doc was all “Look into this eye thingy and stay still, then you’ll read the letters to me”, then he shot some kind of gook into my eyes through the eye thingy. Dude where was my warning? Not cool! (Note to self and you since you’re reading it: You know you watch too much Law & Order when you use the term “sidebar” in real life…or blog posts!)

The Pro 24 Hour Hold Glue is easy to use, just swipe it across the lash band and wait up to 60 seconds for it to become a bit clear. I did not wear falsies for 24 hours but they did last until I took them off, about 6 hours total. I like how lightweight these Kiss Ever Pro Lashes are. No worries of excessive blinking or people thinking I’m cuckoo for constantly looking up, distracted by my falsies. Most of all I like that they are reusable, score! The Pro Lash Applicator is not only pretty pink but it’s helpful too! It’s pretty cool that Kiss included it in the kit for easy gripping during applications.

So I ended up getting them on without poking my eye out, sporting the crooked falsies look or getting glue everywhere. I have to give a huge thanks to Koren Zander (EnKore Makeup) for taking the time to teach me how to apply false lashes during The Makeup Show Orlando. I told him how nervous I was and he jumped to my rescue and told me what to do. Hopefully if he sees this, he’ll give me a virtual high five meaning he thinks I did good on my first try. 🙂 I really like Kiss Ever Pro Lashes and I think it turned out well, what do you think?

Very volumizing! I have mine but yet to try them out 🙂
I always try to avoid using lashes on people with good ones but… sometimes it has to be done. I love the little applicator with these lashes.
I think you did great! I can't tell that they're not real. I never could use falsies because I'm allergic to latex, but after your review (I love your reviews) I can get some of these now that I know the glue is latex free. Thanks for the wonderful review. I wish you a very Happy New Year =D
