Julep Maven March 2012 | It Girl

Julep Maven March 2012 | It Girl

It’s my birthday month and to kick it off, on March 1st I received a March Julep Maven Box. I’m not heavily into nail polish but I like having quite a few color choices to dress up my looks certain days. So far, I’ve been very happy with the Julep Maven program and the Julep products I have gotten to try. Check out my birthday…err March goodies!

Retail Julep total: $42 , Price via Julep Maven Program: $19.99 (I do not know the price of the nail file)

I really like the colors I received this month and the nail file is quite awesome! I wish I had time to take super clear shots but I have uber important things to do such as stuff my face with yummy eatery. I will make sure to use these colors with a design for a nail of the day post so you can see how truly gorgeous the colors are, especially Melissa and Charlotte mixed together! I have to note that each color swatch was done using only 1 coat of nail polish! Busy bee Mina likes that!

Julep Maven is a monthly subscription program in which you receive new Sneak Peek Box of Julep products. Each month you’ll receive an email letting you know your box is ready and a preview of what it includes. You’ll then have until the 25th of the month to request a different box, send your box to a friend or skip the month for no charge. If you want the box chosen for you, you’ll be charged $19.99 and the box will be shipped to you.

Julep Maven often gives the opportunity to try the first box at a deep discount, sometimes just 1 cent! I think the program is worth enrolling in simply because you can try it out cheap, there is no obligation to buy since you skip months without being charged and if you do purchase you get over $40 worth of Julep products for $19.99 which is a good saving. Of course everyone has their own preferences so check out Julep.com and decide for yourself.

@Mariahl03 That is my favorite too and it looks even more gorgeous paired with Melissa, the top coat.
