Julep Maven December Review & Swatches – The Glitterati Collection

The Julep Maven Glitterati Collection includes cremes, glitter, frost and metallic nail polish shades. Also some maven boxes include Julep Sweep Eyeshadow Palette Neutrals and matte eye primer. I have all 5 maven boxes to show you December’s full collection. I’ve separated each box into pages to show swatches of It Girl, Boho Glam, Bombshell, Modern Beauty and Classic With A Twist. The full collection also included the Party Dress Duo nail polish set but I plan to give it away soon on the blog so I didn’t open it and therefore, no swatches.

Evelyn Swatch: Evelyn is said to be a magenta purple creme. It is pretty but seems much darker than the bright, glowing nail polish swatch shown on the Julep blog. I think it looks closer to a magenta purple with 1 coat instead of 2 but the consistency of this polish required 2 coats for me to me to get an even look.

Shoshanna Swatch: Is a full coverage yellow holographic glitter. In person I don’t see holo in this polish. I had a hard time getting full coverage. I used 3 coats and you can see an example of 2 coats on my pinky finger. This one might need thick application for full coverage but I don’t have the patience for drying time of thick coats! Pretty but I’m not happy with the full coverage process so I’ll only use this one for a top coat or nail art.

Celia Swatch: Celia is an icy green metallic and I love it! Yup I, Mina Slater, have found a metallic nail polish I really like. Super duper easy to apply and I used 1 coat.
