Julep Leila Swatches & Review
Leila is a pastel yellow color with a touch of shimmer which adds a bit of golden sheen to the look in direct sunlight. Julep describes it as lemon yellow but I want to make sure you know that it looks more like the inside color of a lemon when indoors, and the brighter color of the outside when outdoors in sunny brightness. The polish was not runny and a huge gripe of mine is having to do massive cleanup because of runny nail polish getting all over the place. Luckily Leila didn’t give me that problem! Unfortunately I applied it too thick so it turned out a bit rough…oops! I really like this one, it’s toned down tons compared to the bright yellows I’m usually in love with. A nice change.
Julep Joy Swatches & Review
Joy is one of my favorites from the March colors and definitely my top pick hands down from the Boho Glam box! The formula wasn’t runny at all and it seemed like every brush stroke put just the right amount of nail polish on. This one looks like a really pretty mauve creme and it shines like whoa before putting on a top coat. I use a top coat regardless because I smudge the heck out of my manicure if don’t!
