Julep Avery Swatch
Avery is a fun, hot pink nail polish…florescent in theory. It’s perfectly girly! It applies with ease with a great formula. This color reminds me of the yummy bubblegum in gumball machines, I loved getting the pink ones when I was a teacup human. It also gives me flashbacks of the grey and pink polka dot outfit I rocked for my grade school photo…with a black and neon pink background. Yup, that happened! I used 2 coats of Avery as well as a top coat for shine, as this nail polish dries to a semi matte finish.
Julep Jackie Swatch
Jackie is a high shine, candy apple red that packs a lot of punch! It is definitely a classic, timeless red…red hot gorgeousness. It’s like the type of red you’d see on fairytale cartoons…like the poisoned apply given to Snow White. Really, I’d describe this polish as delicious…not literally but you know! It’s making me think of cherry pie right now, yumtastic! I applied two coats with ease and used no top coat for this swatch. When the Julep team says “Shine On”, I think they envision bottles of Jackie floating around!
