A cute nautical cosmetic bag accompanies this month’s beauty products and they all fit inside with room left for some of your own faves. Yaby Eyeshadow Refill – Sand Dune & So Vien
I’ve never tried Yaby eyeshadow nor did I use these on my lids yet. So I cannot really speak on the quality, wear time, etc of these eyeshadows. Sand Dune is a neutral, matte tan color. I’m not excited about this color but I don’t hate it either, I’d most likely use for a natural daytime look. So Vein is a pretty, matte teal color and I would definitely use it since I’m a big teal eyeshadow fan. Yaby Eyeshadow Refill cost $3.15 each.
GlamRX Mini Freestyle Palette
The GlamRX Mini Freestyle Palette is a small, empty, magnetic palette about the size of a credit card. Lovely for space saving, perhaps inside of a clutch. Inside it has a great mirror and features a magnetic base so you can fill it up with makeup. To be honest, at first sight I thought it looked…well, cheap. Not cheap in price, I totally love a deal, but I mean cheap in quality. I figured it’s one of those things that’ll fall apart quickly. I’ve used it several times and so far so good, only time will tell. So far I like it though. I didn’t see this on sale at the GlamRX website. I only saw the GlamRX Touch Up Palette which is $16.50.
Since Ipsy included two Yaby Eyeshadow Refills in this glam bag, I decided to toss them into my GlamRX Mini Freestyle Palette as a starter. I haven’t used those yet but I plan to soon. I later popped in my lavender and black eyeshadows by OFRA Cosmetics because I love purple eyeshadow and I always have a nice matte black handy in case I want to transition to a smoky eye for the night.
Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist
I actually already tried this and recently ran out so getting this in the glam bag made me do a little happy dance! I love this stuff and I’m a big Juice Beauty fan. Ginormous fan! It’s really handy for refreshing your face throughout the day, especially on hot or stressful days. I need to do a full review for this one soon, I really love it. Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist is $22.
LA Fresh Travel Lite Makeup Removing Wipes
Yep, I did another happy dance when I saw this in my glam bag. There are two things I love by LA Fresh: their nail polish remover wipes and these makeup remover wipes. This is also something I just ran out of and had on my list to restock. They are good for removing most foundations, lipsticks and eye makeup. Waterproof mascara is a toughie but other than that, these can do the job. These don’t leave my face dry and it doesn’t have crazy fragrance added. LA Fresh Travel Lite Makeup Remover Wipes are perfect for your purse and traveling since you can bring them in your carry on during flights.[note]Ipsy (formerly MyGlam) is a monthly beauty subscription service that costs $10 (shipping included.
