In my three years of living in Florida, my main negative aspect has been the lack of an H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) store. How on earth could such a popular state not have the latest & greatest stores?! By the way, if you’ve never heard of H&M please take a time out immediately to do the following:
1. Slap yourself in the face…hard!
2. Crawl from under your rock.
3. Visit hm.com or simply Google it.
(Please do not ask anyone what H&M is. You will be embarrassed, ridiculed and permanently banned from your inner circle!)
Anywho, you may have heard that H&M is finally opening a store in FL! Location: The Florida Mall in Orlando! That’s right, H&M is opening their first Florida store in Orlando! Now, I know what my fellow O-Town ladies are thinking…why not Mall at Millenia? My preferred mall…my second home. But lets just be happy we’re getting this store, I will come off my shopping pedestal and hit up the Florida Mall, H&M is worth it!
Apparently H&M signed on at Florida Mall because of the new outdoor mall type structure they are building. Florida mall is supposedly looking to sign on Zara & XXI Forever which are stores already located at the lovely Mall at Millenia. Seems they are trying to pull the Millenia shoppers. But I will stay loyal to Millenia for all my spending sprees and shop Florida Mall specifically for H&M.
H&M is slated to open at Florida Mall in early fall. Proof of this…a store manager job posting on CareerBuilder!
