A Few Odd & Random Personal Goals (aka Mina-isms)

[pointinglist]
  • Eat more ice cream (I have to equal out my pizza to ice cream ratio…don’t judge me!)
  • Invent a way to make my nephew stop growing since I can’t revert him back to teacup human status
  • Find more veggies I like…because a person should eat more than just broccoli & carrots
  • Reduce my professional brat level (Yea right! It was a nice thought…)
  • Stop giving the stink eye to those who don’t understand html, php, anything digital, social media or technology
  • Stop giving the stink eye to those who air dirty laundry on Facebook & Twitter…you know, because it’s everyone’s business!
  • Stop giving the stink eye to those who don’t know how to properly use hashtags or retweets on Twitter.
  • Stop giving the stink eye to those who use hashtags on Facebook. They mean nothing on FB and should not be there unless your Twitter status auto-posts to FB.
  • Gain 10 more pounds
  • Try to use up more of my skin/hair/makeup products so I can clear some space! I need some empties badly!
  • Stop correcting “writers” who write/type like they never made it past 8th grade. (Becuz I had thought that wood bee a pritty terrifics idea! P.S. I’m totes gonna start speling my name Miinah! Cuutez! Hehe. Dont you agreei???!!!)
[/pointinglist]

Whoa, I sure give a lot of stink eye, yes? Anywho, 2011 was pretty good year, moreso toward the end, but I’m looking forward to a wonderful year ahead for 2012! I am excited to jump into some volunteer work with Give Kids The World. Also I want to continue giving back to my readers. I receive so many amazing goodies from great brands so I want to share with you this year via more reviews and giveaways. I am so happy, proud and thankful for the love, success and friendships I’m privileged to have at this moment.

Do you have accomplishment from last year that you are proud of? Goals for this year? I’d love to hear about it in a comment below. Also, if you’re a blogger and have a post about your yearly reflections or goals, go ahead and link it in  a comment, I’d love to read it! Cheers to 2012 darlings!

I am so glad you shared this, Mina! Your goals and accomplishments of 2011 are so impressive! I'm more than certain that you will meet all of your personal goals and expectations in 2012. It means a lot that you give of yourself to others and you strive to inspire others. That in and of itself is so very inspiring! =)

I also love your honesty in saying that you give a lot of stink eye. I suppose I should relax my stink eye to all the airing of personal business on Twitter and hashtags on Facebook as well. And please be kind to those of us who are a little off with the html because that is something I am working on too. I have a long way to go! =)

I wish you the best in your future endeavors!

@MissDre Thank you so much for all of your extremely kind words! It means so much. I like being honest, especially on my site. I don't want anyone who reads my posts to think I have this fairytale life or that I seem perfect lol, no one is perfect. When I make mistakes or have things I think can be improved, I own up to it and try to better myself.

Lol yes, I imagine the way I feel when trying to teach someone about html or techy things, is the same way someone trying to teach me college math would feel! Lol. But take your time with the html, it will get easier with time…if not there are awesome templates to use these days 🙂

@0rganicmama Thank you! I have Lupus and half of 2011 was a huge health battle. So much pain, fatigue and massive weight loss. I have 10 more pounds until I'm at my previous weight, so that's on my goal list for this year 🙂

@Melissa Lawler Ooh a cookbook, that sounds interesting! I'd love to have that, maybe when it's finished I'll be one of the first to purchase! 🙂

Working on my goals for 2012 as well. I have some of them written down so far, but have promised myself that they will make the screen this week so that I can keep myself honest. I LOVE what you said about the "stink eye" – I am guilty as well!. I think being a blogger works for me so well because no one can see my face lol!
