Gleam By Melanie Mills Review + Swatches #GleamGirl

I received samples from Gleam by Melanie Mills to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

I recently had the chance to try a few items from the Gleam by Melanie Mills product line. Melanie Mills is an Emmy Award winning makeup artist specializing in face and body makeup. Most people know of this line because of Dancing With The Stars but I first heard of Gleam at The Makeup Show Orlando last year. I got to play with a few products this year at The Makeup Show NYC so I was super excited about this review!

Body Radiance is skin magic. Seriously. It comes in 4 shades being light gold, rose gold, bronze gold and deep gold. I got deep gold and I was a bit worried when I saw the color straight out of the tube but I’m so glad I went ahead and used it. It blends easily to enhance the skin and can help hide little imperfections like stretch marks, even this petite gal has some!

Gleam by Melanie Mills Body Radiance - Deep Gold

It doesn’t transfer to my clothes nor did it stain my skin. Body radiance can be used on the face and body so it’s a multi-use product, more bang for your buck! Plus the shades can be custom blended, I plan to get the other 3 shades. I mostly used it on my decolletage area, arms and legs but I also like it on my cheekbones for a nice dewy, glowing look. It does have a very slight fragrance that I like which may be the Jojoba seed oil and botanical blend in the ingredients.

Gleam by Melanie Mills Radiant Dust - Deep Gold

I love Radiant Dust and I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite product in the bunch. It’s a luxe loose powder that can be used with or without Body Radiance. This also is available in 4 shades being light gold dust, rose gold dust, bronze gold dust and deep gold dust. So far I’ve used deep gold dust as eye shadow, blush and on my cheekbones. I’ve also lightly dusted it over my clavicle (collar bone) and shoulders to accentuate my bone structure. It’s simply gorgeous! I also plan to get all of the shade for this product.

Gleam by Melanie Mills Lip Radiance - Naked

Lip Radiance in Naked is awesome. I’m sure many brown beauties understand the struggle of finding a nude lippie that works. Lip Radiance in Naked is a nude peachy beige and officially part of my lip gloss faves list. It is moisturizing and long lasting, even after I eat. My biggest pet peeve with lip gloss is they usually feel sticky, this one isn’t sticky at all. Lip Radiance comes in 7 pigmented colors: Naked, With My Heels On, Up Against The Wall, Uncontrollable, Pop My Cork, Unforgettable and Unstoppable!

I really like using all three of the Gleam products I picked for glowing skin and a natural, no makeup look. I feel like I can use them for everyday makeup and for that extra boost of radiance for special events!

I’m not much of a make up wearer but I do like how the dust shimmers. I think my daughter would love it for her school dances.

I mainly wear makeup when I go out or leave the house and want to look ‘alive’! This products seems to do that.

I would probably use them for special occasions because I generally stick to lip gloss and mascara. It’s nice to get all dressed and made up once in a while though.
