Any fashion lover knows that jewelry is a key asset to style. Sure some outfits require simplicity but the majority of ensembles are incomplete without a touch of gorgeous trinkets. Aside from perusing our favorite fashion blogs or browsing Instagram for the latest style love, JCK Las Vegas is a major source where jewelry trends are born and the place to be if you are looking to discover new designers plus favorites like Pandora, Alex and Ani and Fossil. JCK, the largest jewelry show in the US, recently held its 26th annual show on June 6th showcasing over 2,400 brands. Clearly that is way too many designers to share here on this blog, so I’ll share a few current trends that have become my favorite!
Geometrics has got to be my top must have trend from the JCK show. I instantly felt drawn to the intricate designs with cutouts and bold shapes! I love how pieces can be incredibly eye catching without being drenched in jewels…although who doesn’t love jewels? Oversized jewels are also on my radar. Mix interesting shapes, cutouts and jewels and you’ve got me hooked. A few of my favorite pieces are from Dana Bronfman, Sylvie Collection and Zina Sterling.
Exotic Journey is another trend that caught my eye. I’m completely obsessed with this one peacock necklace by Tanya Farah.
Industrial Arts is probably going to be embedded in my jewelry loving heart forever with their dark metals and matte finishes. Especially rings! These rings by Elizabeth Garvin and Meredith Marks are on my love list right now.
This one is my surprise love. Modern Pearls! I have never been that into pearls other than one particular set of pearl earrings. I think the modernism in these designs captured me. These aren’t your grandma’s pearls my darlings! Modern pearls could definitely become a staple in my accessories wardrobe. I’m so in love with everything by Fern Freeman, especially this gorgeous ring and the eyelash earrings! I’ve also got my eyes on an Amy Glaswand pendant.
