Don’t Sweat Small Stuff…It’s Lame!

Smile, It's A Beautiful Day!

Do you sweat small stuff? We often stress what we view as big problems and people tend to say enjoy the little things. Sometimes this is true and I agree with enjoying the little things. However, we lose sight of the fact that those little things are really the big things!

Don't sweat the small stuff...smile, it's a beautiful day! My lovely friend Nancy shared this image thus inspiring this post! I love it and I love her!

Sometimes what we stress about really isn’t a big deal. We often sweat the small stuff, things that are usually resolved with little effort. It is so easy to focus on small, temporary issues and begin to complain too much. What is the point of that? Don’t sweat small stuff so much, that is pretty lame!  So many things are easily overlooked as big, wonderful things. I’m a picky eater, want my dream home and my family sometimes drives me nuts. However I have food, I have a place to live and I have a family. Today I am:

I want everyone reading this to take 5 quick minutes to simply forget about yesterday and not worry about tomorrow. Appreciate this moment, enjoy it…now smile!

Exactly what I needed to read!  I spend too much time sweating the unnecessary.  Tonight I'm gonna try to let it go!

I read where it is human nature to worry.  One of the suggestions is to ask yourself what you were worrying about last and what happened that you aren't worrying about it anymore.  Then think if what you are worrying about now will be an issue tomorrow.  So I think of all the years I've worried and worried and all those worries…where are they now?  We replace one worry with another and they go away….so stop worrying so much.

Thanks for the positive vibes, I am a negative worry wart too often, worrying over things too much!

I wish I could remember this more often! My part time job causes a lot of drama in my life, and I wish it wouldn't get to me as much as it does!
