Relogy is a natural, simple two step acne treatment system. It includes Relogy Dual Action Treatment Foam and Relogy Skin Balancing Lotion. As an extra boost to clear up your skin, there is a Relogy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment roller ball. Also included was a bag to store the skin care products in. On top of that, it’s cruelty free! Before I get into the review, let me tell you a bit about the skin of my nephew (kiddo), my mother (Cupcake) and myself. Kiddo is going through that horrid teenage acne phase with oily skin. He is also an athlete so he sweats a lot! Cupcake gets breakouts around the chin area for some unknown reason and has sensitive skin. I have sensitive, combination skin and occasionally get breakouts near that oh so pleasant, monthly female time…or if I eat chocolate which I’m not a huge fan of anyway![quoteicon author=”Relogy”]Relogy (pronounced rel-oh-jee) was created out of the words: real; actual, verifiable, religion; something one believes in a follows devotedly, and logic; science or body of knowledge. Relogy Dual Action Treatment Foam
Step 1 in the fight against acne is Relogy Dual Action Treatment Foam. This can be used in two different ways. One option is to take a quarter sizes amount, apply to wet skin and rinse like you would with regular face wash. Option two is to apply to dry skin on acne prone areas and let it absorb into your skin. I’ve actually tried it both ways. Kiddo applies it dry because it’s such an easy routine for a teenage boy! It’s actually kind of fun seeing the foam float out of the bottle. I love that Relogy Dual Action Treatment Foam is gentle and has a very light, natural scent. We all noticed a difference using this. I’ll continue having kiddo use it because it’s the only thing that’s made a difference with the sports lifestyle he leads. I’ve had exactly one pimple since I began using it a month ago. It does tend to dry my skin so I reduced usage to every other day and it still works just as great!
Relogy Skin Balancing Lotion
Step 2 is the Relogy Skin Balancing Lotion. I use just a pea size amount and it leaves my face soft and moisturized without feeling greasy. It absorbs quickly into the skin and lasts until my night time cleansing. This also has a light, natural scent. This is something that I love about most natural products, you don’t get these overbearing fragrances! I know all about moisturizing the face but Cupcake and kiddo are a different story! Cupcake is used to simply tossing on any old lotion or none at all…yikes! Kiddo, well, it’s a bit tough to convince a boy that moisturizer is important and “No, it’s not a girl thing”. 😉 Luckily I never have to try too hard to get kiddo to do what I ask, he generally just goes with the flow and trusts me. After applying the moisturizer he did notice the difference of how his skin felt so he was sold, yay!
Bonus: Relogy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment
Relogy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment contains seaweed extract and comes in a rollerball tube. This is something you could actually toss in your purse, yippy! With the rollerball applicator it is so easy to use. All you do is roll it a bit only on the spots where you have a blemish. You can use it up to twice daily. To test it for all three of us, I rolled it onto cotton swabs so everyone could try it. I am the main user of this since I actually used the rollerball on my face afterwards. I used it where an unwanted guest was forming and of course the blemish wasn’t magically gone but the swelling and soreness was reduced and the redness was completely gone. By the end of day 2 I noticed it was visibly gone. When I say visibly I mean that it was most likely still lurking under the surface but no longer visible on my skin. I need to grab a few more of these so kiddo and Cupcake can have them.
I love Relogy! I think it worked best for kiddo and myself but it works for Cupcake as well. I think if I can get her into a skincare routine to follow as diligently as I do, she’d be all set! I love that it can be used dry because I doubt kiddo would stick to anything more complicated, especially with his school and sports schedule. He’s a very busy, active kid! I appreciate that Relogy is honest and tells you straight up that this isn’t an overnight fix or cure for acne. Even the included information educates you that a blemish doesn’t just pop up…it’s been formulating under the surface of your skin for up to 8 weeks, plotting it’s attack against you! Sneaky much. So of course it takes time to fully treat it. Don’t just stop treatment because you don’t see a blemish any longer, it’s still there and you need to continue fighting it! Relogy does that for me and my family…and it does it naturally. That leads to the final thing I love about Relogy. My mind is at ease knowing that I’m not putting harsh ingredients and chemicals on the faces of my loved ones…especially my kiddo!
