My birthday was last Saturday so to get ready for my big weekend I started with some beauty prep. You know shaving, plucking, primping and all that painful girly stuff. I’m already a fan of PND Botanicals fragrances but they now have bath and body products available. I finally used my Entwined Organic Soap from PND because you can’t do beauty prep without cleaning up first! I love the keltic heart design of this soap so much I didn’t want to use it, I wanted to just let it sit around all pretty. I ultimately couldn’t resist using it though and I’m glad because it’s lovely. It’s a really gentle organic coconut base soap that is sulfate free and vegan. The Entwined Organic Soap has the Diva fragrance which smells a bit like vanilla of some sort. I just love it! Skin beauty prep = check!
I got my hair all clean, soft and yummy smelling using my Kai Shampoo and Conditioner. Yep, I’m still in love with scent of all Kai products. No joke, that’s what I think heaven smells like…Kai fragrance. I’m convinced, don’t try to change my mind! 😉 Hair beauty prep = check!
I spent hours playing with tons of nail polish so I could figure out what color I wanted to use and if I wanted to do nail art. It was fun but at the same time a friggin nightmare trying to decide. Then I got annoyed and things got messy! I thought I’d chosen this black Jessica polish, even though the nail art turned out messy. Nope, changed my mind. I ended up going with a pretty color that channels radiant orchid on my fingers and footy toes. I’ll be posting about that later this week but I said to myself “Self, why waste this photo? Just post it anyway!” 🙂 Nail beauty prep = half check!???
I didn’t do any facials or masks because everything I have is new and I wouldn’t dare try a new skin care product on my face the night before an event. I used my OFRA Cosmetics Vitamin C Cleanser and Vitamin C Cream as regular since I know it works wonderfully for me.
I plan to share more about my birthday weekend like my outfits, makeup and what I did but there are quite a few photos to go thru. Once I get my act together, I’ll share more about my 33rd birthday!
