I love eyeshadow palettes and I’ve been on the lookout for two new ones. I have plenty of shimmer but I need a range of mattes in my stash. BH Cosmetics recently released a Day & Night palette with 60 eyeshadow colors and they sent me one! Yay! If you aren’t aware, BH Cosmetics sells…well cosmetics! BH Cosmetics Day & Night EyeShadow Palette
The BH Cosmetics Day & Night Eyeshadow Palette comes in a sleek black case with 60 eye shadow colors as well as a mirror. There is a mixture of matte and shimmer eye shadows and the range of colors are perfect for layering to easily turn your daytime look into a night time look.
On the left side of the eyeshadow palette are 30 day colors. The colors are a mixture of pastels and neutral shades with mostly mattes and a few shimmer eye shadows. These are great for a soft, day look and leaves no worry about not being appropriate at work.
The right side of the eyeshadow palette hold 30 night colors. The night side is packed with deep, jewel toned shades that are perfect for a smoky eye look at night time. They can be applied right on top of the day time eye shadow. These include mostly shimmer colors and a few mattes including red! The night eyeshadow is pretty pigmented so I suggest using a gentle hand to build the colors to your liking. Little dabs can go a long way with most of these shades, no need to saturate your brush in the colors. 🙂
I really like the mirror in the palette. It’s very clear and a decent size. As a beauty lover, you need a good mirror to apply your makeup!
I didn’t notice much (if any) fallout using most colors of the BH Day and Night Eyeshadow Palette. The eyeshadow is easy to blend, didn’t crease and stayed put for about 3 hours without primer, the deeper shades lasted longer. I noticed that the day shadows fade faster so I recommend using a good primer before applying and/or setting spray afterwards.
Quick Tips
- Apply deep colors with a gentle hand until you know how pigmented they will appear
- Use good eye primer and/or setting spray for longer staying power
- For even more pigmented colors, apply light concealer on lids, apply light base color or apply shadow wet

This looks like a great palette. Did you have good lasting power over a primer? I really want to try it, but I'm unsure of the quality!
I typically prefer neutral colors, but I also gravitate toward night colors, since that's usually when I go out. I can never get night colors bright enough from my neutrals, so the vividness of the palette is refreshing.
I like Bold Night makeup the most but I have been known to wear neutrals as well. I like this palette because of the variety of colors. You could achieve any look that you want.

I like the night time look. It has that sultry and mysterious aura. I love the night palette as well because you can actually use some of them for daytime by not overdoing it 🙂
This palette looks gorgeous! I'm definitely more into neutral makeup, and then I'll make my eye makeup a bit more dramatic for nights out with eyeliner.
I like that the palette has options available to create any style, whether it be day or night. I used to prefer bold, wild, attention-grabbing makeup, but have recently begun exploring more toned down, neutral looks with lots of browns, coppers, and soft pinks.
I like both neutral and smoky eyes. I like that the palette has both matte and shimmery colors.
