Beauty Box 5 January Review + Cool News And February Sneak Peek

Beauty Box 5 January 2014

Before I get started with this review of my Beauty Box 5 for January, I wanted to share some pretty flippin cool news. Guess who is the Beauty Box 5 Blogger of the Month. Ding, ding, ding! This gal right here! I’m really excited and you can read all about it on the BB5 Blog…after you’re done reading this review of course! šŸ˜‰ If you don’t know about BB5, it’s a monthly beauty box subscription that delivers 5 samples to you for $12 a month.

Beauty Box 5 January 2014Okay so I’m so loving this Beauty Box 5, what a great way to get the new year started and beat the winter skin battle! I like everything included, so let’s jump on in and take a peek!

Nubar Cuticle & Nail Oil

Where has this stuff been all my life? Seriously loving Nubar Sweet Almond Cuticle & Nail Oil! It absorbs super fast, smells delicious and is free of icky junk like formaldehyde! I deliberately neglected my cuticles for a few days to test this out. Check out my before and after picture!

Jergens Daily Moisturizer

I like Jergens. I keep a stash of these for my handbags, car, beach tote, etc so I was glad to get this Jergens Daily Moisturizer. My mother needed a new one though so I gave her this new one.  This moisturizer doesn’t take long to absorb, has no strong scent and hydrates my skin without feeling greasy. I also think it’s great to place in the guest bathroom!

Epic Blend Hemp Coconut Lip Balm

Epic Blend Hemp Coconut Lip Balm is awesomeness and I believe this is my first experience with the brand. This stuff smells so yummy…I love everything coconut! More importantly it glides on so smooth like butter and moisturizes my lips without feeling too greasy or shiny like I just ate a bunch of deep fried food. šŸ˜‰

H2O Plus Spa Sea Lotus Body Wash

Nothing makes bath & body shopping easier for a couple than products that can be used by men and women! H2O Plus Spa Sea Lotus Body Wash is unisex and a major hit in my house! It cleans well and smells fresh, not feminine or masculine so if anyone doesn’t like it the reason won’t be because it’s too girly or too dude-ish. šŸ˜‰ I actually feel refreshed after using this body wash so I can see why the word spa is in the name.

Swissco Bath & Shower Exfoliating Gloves

My favorite goody in this Beauty Box 5! I’m such a huge fan of shower gloves, chances are if I see them in store they somehow end up in my shopping cart. Including these Swissco Bath & Shower Exfoliating Gloves in addition the H2O Plus body wash was perfection! These are great for exfoliating my skin without being harsh. I want a pair in every color!

Bonus Product: That Awkward Moment Mirror Compact

I received a complimentary Beauty Box 5 a long long time ago and I really did like it. There are many beauty subscription services out there right now so it always comes down to the products inside. For $12 a month, the samples are a generous size and worth the money spent!

I absolutely love H20 products – that’s what they use on the Disney Cruise Ships (or at least they used to) and I completely fell obsessive over them after cruising. I need to get me some of that so I feel like I’m at the spa instead of at home, LOL.

I’m mad, I stop getting this box back in November, because they sent me a box, it got lost in the mail and they failed to refund me. They had a lot of problems then, have then gotten better with their products, looks like it. I love this box!
