5 Spring Break Tips & Must Haves

Spring break is right around the corner and though I haven’t made a final decision on where I will be going, I do have some general tips plus items I must bring with me in my beach bag. I say beach bag because regardless of where I end up for spring break, a beach will exist! Without further chatter, here are my spring break tips and must haves.

5 Spring Break Tips & Must Haves

Tip 1: Always give loved ones trip details such as flight and hotel info and have a plan set with your travel mates in case you get separated.
Must Have: Besides my phone and a travel first aid kit, sunblock is with me at all times! I bring a large sized bottle with me to share with friends and even complete strangers. Sunblock is often forgotten so I’ve actually shared mine with other random beach goers several times.

Tip 2: Create memories! Try new things, explore and take advantage of things you normally wouldn’t have a chance to do.
Must Have: I love reminiscing about my travels and adventures! Photos and video are a huge part of that, so an action camera is the perfect companion. I just got a Polaroid Cube+ and this little action camera is legit! I put a waterproof case on it so I can even grab some underwater footage and the WiFi feature lets me instantly view and share memories.

Tip 3: Be prepared! You never know if you will have allergies, have pains or need an energy boost. Think ahead about situations that may occur and bring items to fix them.
Must Have: I never go on vacation, or anywhere, without tampons. I like to be prepared in case of any surprises in my cycle or if my gal pals need any so I can continue my reign as best girlfriend ever! Tampax Pocket Pearl is my go-to tampon because it is so compact and easy to use with a quick click. The last thing I want to worry about is clothing mishaps and these provide the protection I need so I can enjoy my trip. Even the packaging is cute and colorful!

Tip 4: Party it up! It is spring break, after all. Laugh, dance, zipline if you dare! You’re with friends so let loose and have fun.
Must Have: I always bring a portable Bluetooth speaker with me on trips. They are great to have while getting ready in the hotel room and to liven things up even more at the beach. This is my newest portable Bluetooth speaker and I love it because it is small, lights up and plays via Bluetooth or micro SD card.

Tip 5: It’s okay to tune out for a bit. Yes, you may be on a group trip but everyone needs alone time. Even if it’s a few minutes. Don’t alienate yourself but don’t feel obligated to buddy up every second of every day.
Must Have: Bluetooth Headphones also accompany me during spring break. I’ll have these in case no one else wants to hear music, I randomly decide to hit the hotel gym or I venture off by myself for a bit.

Yes! I’ve been dying to grab one of those small little cameras, but the GoPro is a little pricey. Looks like the Polaroid one might be a better option!
