Living a busy lifestyle and itching to travel more frequently has made me seek ways to minimalize my beauty routine. I will forever love makeup, so I have been trying beauty products and techniques that allow me to live a life of less. Less time for application and fewer products to use while still being able to feel that enhanced glam that makeup can provide. One thing that has made it into my beauty kit over the past week is Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil, and I love them. Quick, easy and pretty.
Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil is available at Target in the shades Caramel Cloud, Showering Sunset, Whispering Orchid, Rustling Rose, Crimson Breeze and Misted Plum. My favorite shade is Misted Plum without a doubt but Crimson Breeze is also one I reach for a lot. The non-sticky formula includes meadowfoam seed extract and coconut oil to help nourish lips, and each shade provides a sheer kiss of color. These gems leave my lips feeling super soft, which is awesome because my lips tend to dry out and get chapped whether it is winter or summer. Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil provides the hydration I need and stays put for several hours. I typically reapply it after eating.
Moisturizing lip oil with a natural, sheer tint of color is perfect for running errands, last minute meetings, glamping, trekking across the world or just sitting at home feeling extra cute. There are many times when wearing full coverage makeup is inconvenient or unnecessary for me. When headed to a conference, I quickly toss on eyeliner, mascara and lip color and head out the door ready to be a girl boss. I’m on full business and network mode, so I have no time or desire to check my makeup and do retouches all day. Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil is perfect for this because I don’t have to watch out for the color bleeding, visibly fading or getting on my teeth as I would with lipstick. I also don’t have to worry about drying, cracking lips which is common at conferences because of how much talking takes place. Most of all I think I love Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil because there is no sticky feeling like a lip gloss leaves. Lip oil is genius!
At first glance of the packaging, you may think some of the colors are a bit dark but no worries, they are all quite sheer hints of color! They feature a brush tip which is easy to apply. You twist the bottom section, which pumps the product to the tip so you can paint it on your lips with the brush. As you turn the bottom, you will hear clicking. It takes a bit the first time you use it, but once the product begins to dispense it should only need 1-3 clicks per use depending on how much you want to apply.
The new Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil is everything I once loved about lip gloss but so much better! You get the shine, moisture and color without any of the stickiness. You can pick up all six shades of Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Oil at Target stores and online.
P.S. Hold on tight to these gems when you get them! My mom snatched three of mine today, so I have to repurchase them for myself. 😉
