Ofra Pro Eyeshadow Palette Review With Swatches

I’ve wanted a magnetic palette for some time now but good things come to those who wait. Instead of just a magnetic palette, I got one pre-filled with eyeshadow! I’ve become quite a big Ofra Cosmetics fan so I’d like to share their eye gel primer and magnetic eyeshadow palette with you. Check out my review and then enter for a chance to win a set below!

Not everyone uses eye primer but I certainly do not go without it. If you’re new to makeup, you may notice that sometimes eyeshadow will crease and/or fade quite quickly. Using a good eye primer will prevent most creasing as well as help your eyeshadow last longer. Ofra Cosmetics Eye Gel Primer is in my opinion a great primer. It appears to have a hint of color however it blends in to flesh tone. As a gel primer, it dries quickly in less than a minute meaning you can jump right into applying your shadow. It provides a nice, smooth surface to apply your eyeshadow and makes blending even easier. I use just a small dot on each lid and spread it out with my pinky finger, concentrating especially on my inner corners as I get a bit oily there. As far as staying power, I accidentally slept with my makeup on a few nights ago. I know, skin care violation…I was exhausted! Anywho, my eyeshadow still looked great when I woke the next morning. So that was actually 15 hours of wear.

My favorite facial feature is the eyes. I feel that even on the worst day, a person can go from looking drab to fab with just a bit of eye enhancement. Eyeshadow is a huge love of mine, whether subtle or bold, and quality is extremely important to me. I immediately fell head over heels for the gorgeousness in the Ofra Pro Eyeshadow Palette.

This is a magnetic palette full of a beautiful range of colors from light to dark, cool plus warm colors and includes both matte and shimmer shades. The colors in this eyeshadow palette can work for any skin tone or type. For reference I am of a caramel shade with combination skin so I can relate to brown girls plus darlings with dry skin and oily skin.

Mr. Man will have no reason to complain about my “load of beauty girl stuff” when we travel because with this magnetic palette I can mix and match whatever I want to take with me. Simply pop them in and out and place it in my purse…carry on item much! Seriously ladies, if you can fit your iPad in your purse you’ll love this because it’s smaller than most tablets and e-readers, slim and lightweight. Mina approves!

Ofra Cosmetics Magnetic Pro Eyeshadow Palette, you can easily move the eyeshadow around or even add in a blush or lip gloss!

The colors in the Ofra Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette are very pigmented! It takes such a gentle hand to apply the eyeshadow so each color should last a very long time because you won’t need to use much. How flippin awesome is that? As a multiethnic darling (aka mixed chick), I usually have to use a very light base color (or light colored concealer) from lid to brow before attempting to apply most colors. Nothing is needed with Ofra’s eyeshadow and that is sure to make so many women of color extremely happy!

Also, Ofra Cosmetics’ eyeshadow is beyond easy to blend even for makeup newbies, so smooth that application is a piece of pie! I did some swatching of the colors in this palette. I did all with and without primer to show you a well rounded representation of swatches. There are many shades, so swatching took up my entire arm. Check it out.

The remaining Ofra Pro Eyeshadow swatches this time with & without primer, side by side. First color is without primer, then next to it is the same color with primer. The last shade is a soft matte pink that I feel can be used as blush or eyeshadow.

I adore all of the eyeshadow in the palette but my favorites have to be the bright pink, teal, green, blues and that gold from the swatch photo above. Wait…that’s nearly half the palette. I can’t choose, I like them all…and I’ve actually used them all. It’s pretty fair to say my Ofra Cosmetics eyeshadow palette and I have formed a bond, we’re inseparable. I won’t even share it so now I have to buy my mother one for herself…I spy a mom with grabby hands!
