MyGlam Glam Bag June 2012
I think this may just be my favorite glam bag so far. I would actually use everything is the bag…score! I love pretty much anything by Philosophy so I am always glad to get a deluxe sample or travel size goodies of theirs. I am constantly up for trying new hair care, so I am pretty excited about getting Living Proof frizz Nourishing Styling Cream. I’ve never tried anything by the brand, so I’m looking forward to trying it, possibly during my next vacation since it is travel sized.
NYX Round Lipstick 626 Vitamin
I have a few NYX Round Lipstick colors so when I heard one of these were in the June glam bag, I hoped for one I do not already have. Luck for me, I received Vitamin, a peachy coral lipstick with shimmer. While I do love peachy coral shades, I typically do not use shimmery lipstick. But…
NYX Round Lipstick 626 Vitamin Swatch
The color swatch looks gorgeous. When applied it goes on rather sheer, allowing it to be layered to personal perfection. This gives me the chance to wear it in a subtle way where I don’t think the shimmer is too overwhelming. I also love the satin finish NYX Round Lipstick tends to have. I think this color is a keeper for me…not a holy grail, but a keeper!
Marbella Permanent Eyeliner Pen
Waterproof eyeliner that doesn’t smudge? Yes please! I was so happy to get a Marbella Permanent Eyeliner Pen! I don’t necessarily think it should be labeled permanent, as it is not, but it does last pretty long. I can wipe, with some oomph, several times and it does not budge. I live in Florida, so having makeup that stays put through massive heat is like the joy of having an endless stash of pink cupcakes! What? I love pink cupcakes, don’t judge me! Anywho, since this eyeliner pen is so strong, you should perfect your liquid or pen liner technique before trying this one. There’s minimal room for error with this baby!
