Cult Nails Fairytale Collection Swatches
Cult Nails is a cruelty free, indie nail polish brand I am now completely hooked on! Cult Nails was one of the amazing sponsors of the May meetup of the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida. We were all so grateful to Maria, who was generous enough to provide each of us with Cult Nails newest beauties, the Fairytale Collection!
The Fairytale Collection includes:
- Feelin’ Froggy
- Evil Queen
- Happy Ending
Princess is a lovely light blue shade with warm shimmer. It’s like periwinkle and powder blue got married and had a sparkly baby. Hmm, weird reference. Okay, it reminds me of Cinderella’s gown surrounded by golden magic sparkles. I used two coats and no top coat. Cult Nails polishes glide on like butter and the brushes are perfect for my petite nails. This polish makes me feel like skipping over to Disney to reclaim my castle. What? I’m a princess and now I’ve got the polish to prove it!
Charming is a gorgeous purple that got no justice when photographed. I had a tough time trying to capture the true beauty of this polish on camera. This is a sheer polish that can be layered to your hearts desire and I love that! I wanted the color to be deeper so I applied three layers.
Feelin’ Froggy has to be my absolute favorite of the Fairytale Collection! I am so picky about green nail polish and rarely find one that I like with my skin tone. Feelin’ Froggy is the perfect, shimmery, emerald green I’ve dreamed of for years! The amazing shimmer and perfect shade of green are simply mesmerizing. When I wear this, I want to match all of my outfits with it so I can keep it on as long as possible!
Evil Queen is also a favorite of mine. Although my favorite color is red, so I could be a bit biased here. Typically you’re supposed to cheer for the good gals and against the queen because…well, she’s evil! But it’s so hard not to love, adore and lavish this Evil Queen with compliments! It’s the perfect candy apple red, with just one coat! It’s so smooth and shiny without a top coat…it looks unreal. My head is already spinning with ideas of how to use it for the 4th of July!
Every fairytale deserves a Happy Ending! I love this glitter polish with it’s array of fun colors, shapes and sizes. This is seriously a party in a bottle! Just one swipe is all that’s needed and it compliments every shade in the Fairytale Collection…it literally is a Happy Ending!
The Cult Nails Fairytale Collection will be available for purchase at CultNails.com starting Friday, June 15, 2012 and will probably sell like hotcakes, so put some pep in your step and grab these babies!
