Bettina Nail Enamel | Sherbet Nail Polish
Today I was glad to whip out this summery Sherbet nail polish by Bettina Cosmetics. It has been raining like mad all week due to tropical storm Debby. Seriously, Debby Downer much?! Now that it’s over, this Florida girl is ready for bursts of brights! Bettina not only sponsored the May meetup of Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida by providing each of us with a nail polish, but they also gave us lovely pink nail files! What a relief since I have only one other nail file I really like…I’m picky with nail files. I like them to quickly shape my nails yet not be too rough or damaging. I’m delicate and should be tended to like a fluffy cloud made of pink cotton candy. Yep, I just said that…well technically I wrote it but whatevs!
Sherbet is a yummy shade of portland orange that reminds me of the sherbet ice cream my mother used to eat, even though the color of this nail polish is deeper. We used to sit together solving puzzles, her with orange sherbet while I had rainbow sherbet. The formula of Bettina nail enamel gave me a sigh of relief. I wanted to use the color badly but was in no mood to fuss with runny, streaky nail polish! Patience was not a quality I possessed today…I’m like the kid in the backseat asking “Are we there yet?” repeatedly! Anywho, this nail polish was easy to work with and I was satisfied with the color after 2 coats. For that, I give my first bottle of Bettina two thumbs up!
