I do plenty of online shopping but when it comes to beauty products, I often like to shop brick and mortar stores. It is simply better in person so you can see true colors, feel textures and smell fragrances. I was so excited when I was asked to team up with Sephora Disney Springs at Disney World to see and shop the new store. Sephora is one of my favorite stores and I’ve been meaning to pick up a few things so the timing was perfect!
Sephora at Disney Springs has got to be the most beautiful, organized location I have ever seen. The store is bright, fun and inviting and the beauty advisors are the best. It is so easy to find products but the beauty advisors are happy to answer questions, give recommendations and even show you how to use products. You can get a complimentary Mini Makeover as well and let me tell you, you will want to leave with more than makeup. The lighted mirrors in the Sephora Beauty Studio are bomb and I legit want one for my room! My memory card was full from my recent trip to Minnesota so I couldn’t vlog but I did remember to save my Snapchat story (HeyMinaSlater) so you can check out a glimpse below.
I knew I wanted to finally try Cover FX Custom Cover Drops but was unsure of which shade to grab so I decided to use Color IQ to get matched. Emily, the best Sephora beauty advisor ever, helped me out. In a matter of moments I learned that my Color IQ number is 2Y11 and I now have 20+ foundation and concealer matches to choose from! Your Color IQ number will be emailed to you so you’ll have it for your next visit and added to your Sephora profile for easy online shopping too. Emily applied shade G70 of Cover FX Custom Cover Drops and a mixture of the primer I use most, Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer and it was perfection. Sold! I also picked up the other products Emily applied on me which was Sephora Collection Perfection Mist Airbrush Bronzer shade Medium/Deep and Nars blush shade Sin. Because I’m a travel gal I decided to grab a new fragrance rollerball to take on my trip to Massachusetts this weekend. Fragrance IQ! Yep, there is one of fragrance and another for skin care. Travis, the guru of fragrance at Sephora helped me pick out the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh rollerball. Love!
Of all of the Sephora locations in the area, I will definitely be making Sephora at Disney Springs my home store. During my next shop I am going to use the Skin IQ to see what results I get on that. I also want to check out the Disney Minnie Beauty by Sephora collection before it sells out. Whether you’re a local like me or a visitor you should definitely stop by Sephora Disney Springs. If you need help ask for Emily or Travis and tell them Mina says hello! 😉
